Peter Lewys Preston studied at the Shenandoah University in Virgina and at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich, where he graduated with a diploma summa cum laude. He won the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang, a german singing competition, two times in a row, and is a two time sponsorship award winner of the "Jugend kulturell" foundation and the Deutscher Musikrat.
In 2013 he sang Christian de Neuvillette in CYRANO DE BERGERAC at the BR and played Jimmy's Mum in REEFER MADNESS at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz. After that he starred in Shakespeare's TWELFTHE NIGHT as Sir Andrew Aguecheeck, played Robert Martin in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and did NOVECENTO: LEGEND OF 1900 at the Prinzregententheater in Munich. Then he was Dieter in IO SENZA TE at the Theater 11 in Zurich and afterwards played Mortimer in KING.
In 2015 he released his debut album REACHING FOR HEAVEN, where he did not only present himself as singer, but also internationally established himself as composer.
With his solo shows such as LIVE UND GANZ IN FARBE and PLAYING LOVE he's been touring and sang amongst other theatres at the Prinzregententheater Munich, Boulevardtheater Dresden and the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin.
Furthermore he occasionally works for Movie and TV.
Since 2016 he's employed at the state theatre in Linz.
